Tokyo DoraemonLand

Tokyo DoraemonLand (東京ドラえもんランド, Tōkyō Doraemon rando) is a year-long Doraemon take-over of Tokyo Disneyland. Mickey and the other Disney characters take a year-long vacation from the park after hosting Tokyo Disneyland's heavily promoted 50th Anniversary Celebration event the year prior.

Summary

Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and the other Disney characters have spent a full year celebrating the 50th anniversary of Tokyo Disneyland and are obviously exhausted. So they decide to take a year-long vacation from the park, but who will man the ship while Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, Pluto, and the whole gang were away? Well it's the futuristic blue robot cat Doraemon and friends, for they've offer to step up and help hold down the fort while Mickey and friends take their much needed vacation. So come January 1st when Mickey packed his bags and set sail for some place warmer for a year, Doraemon and the gang will move into the park and the typical adventurous excitement and hilarious chaos of the Doraemon franchise would ensue. For a full year, Tokyo Disneyland would be completely taken over by the cast of Doraemon and various characters from other Fujiko Fujio related properties (like Perman, Mami the Psychic, Kiteretsu Daihyakka, Mojacko, 21 Emon, Plum Star Denka, Chimpui, Little Ghost Q-Taro, etc.) and will turn the park upside down.

Trivia

• This year-long take-over of Tokyo Disneyland is influenced by a similar unrealized concept called MuppetLand, which would've been a year long Muppet themed take over of Disneyland after the 35th anniversary of the park the year prior.
