Plot[]
On the day of Halloween, Nobita and Doraemon are planning to play tricks on their friends. They go around everyone's house but nobody seemed to be home. As the reached Suneo last, he could be seen showing the others his new car that Sunekichi had bought. Nobita knew exactly what would happen, so he tried to get away with Doraemon but was caught and started being taunted by Suneo. When Nobita says what he thinks, Suneo replies that he was going to invite Nobita. A stunned Nobita turns around and confirms it from Suneo - "Yes", he replies.
Doraemon is stunned at this too, but is happy at the same time. Doraemon bids goodbye to Nobita as he along with others, heads towards the North mountainous beach. Along the way, Suneo tells them that they are going to his personal beach-house, and they will conduct a program at night to celebrate Halloween. However, Nobita was scared again as he knew what Suneo does at night on beach-houses — - challenge Nobita to go through the forest and scare him with fake ghosts. Remaining such the whole day, night falls. But this time, Suneo announces his different plan - they will all go to a house to a supposedly haunted real estate behind the mountain. Nobita turns blue and immediately rejects. Suneo starts taunting him again and this makes Nobita accept it but regretting his decision again.
They hire a jeep from a lender nearby the road above, and reach the estate. Surprisingly for Suneo, there stood a two-storeyed duplex at the corner of the property which, Suneo confirms to have never seen before. Gian states that it might have been recently built and they continue on the large field with moderate trees and solar panels around. Suneo declares their goal - they will trek to the mountain top which lies inside the estate, set up a campfire and spend the night in tents. Their trek goes smooth until suddenly, some bushes start to move around. Everyone gets scared, but it turns out to be a rabbit roaming around. Suneo takes the lead and starts explaining that there is nothing to worry about, and "ghosts do not exist". The very moment, the bush started moving again and smoke started to arise from a nearby stream.
They run and reach the backyard of the duplex and breathe heavily. As they stand beside the back door that is open, they decide to stay back and enter the house. Everything is fresh and new inside the house. They are handed torches and each one goes to a different corner of the house. Nobita discovers an attic door. He calls on everyone but no one responds, so he decides to go up by himself. Pointing his torch around, he sees an anthropomorphic figure at the corner of the room. He scarily approaches it and it suddenly gets up, muttering "do you have food... do you". Nobita gets so scared he drops his flashlight in the room and runs out. Roaming around the entire house, he sees no one. Suddenly, the "do you have food" sound starts intensifying and Nobita collapses. A tape recorder simultaneously falls through the ceiling and hits Nobita, making him scream.
The others, who forgetfully left Nobita behind and are already at the peak, hear his scream and remember about him. They run to the house and find Nobita lying on the ground. A shadowy figure appears outside the window and Shizuka sees it. It disappears again, followed by a screech that comes from the top. Everyone approaches the attic door when a vent in the wooden floor opens up, swallowing Suneo. Nobita and Shizuka stay back while Gian goes down to rescue Suneo. Nobita peeks too deep into the hole and he falls down too. This leaves Shizuka up, but having no stairs, she did not want to go into the hole. Instead, she starts looking for ropes to throw it being unsuccessful. All the could do was expect daylight and help.
As the sun rises, Doraemon at home, gets curious about their situation and uses the Time TV to see everything that happened to them. Looking at all the flashback, he is really worried and uses Anywhere Door to reach them. Shizuka, asleep near the hole, is woken up by Doraemon and she asks him for help. Doraemon calls the others inside and uses Instant Elevator to pull them up. They are all confused what happened the last night, so they take their bags and return to the beach-house. Gian wants to go back to the house, but is resisted by everyone. As a result, he marches back alone into the duplex and in the attic, secretly followed by everyone. As everyone stands below the attic door, they hear "...Halloween prank... fused..." and then a punch. Down comes Gian along with two other boys.
They confess on having set up halloween pranks around the estate but to a more realistic extent - without Jack o'lanterns. The two boys then run away without any more words, and everyone discovers the fallen tape-player too. In the evening when they were leaving, they passed the estate. However, something weird Nobita noticed - the house was not there. As the approached the pond which was the source of the stream, smoke began to rise. He hid his face and they moved on.
