Doraemon(2020 special) is a series by Thomaszou that follows the canon characters as they live in the 2020 nightmare. It is supposed to have 2 seasons(only had 1), and it was created on 9/3. Although it only aired in Italy, it was dubbed around the world.

It is a series that was aired during the second COVID-19 wave and it was a program that was adopted by all of Italy. It was ended after 27 episodes because Boing didn't want intrusion into the canon plots.

- Although this special was no longer making new episodes in 2021, it was aired in all of Europe by then.
- It had a similar last-episode format like the 1973 Anime, but all of the episodes are online and are not lost media.
- The second episode is the only episode not available on the internet because the Italian Government blocked it because it showed hostility to medical workers.
- Likewise, the second episode was never aired in Europe because after airing in Italy, Boing realized it's mistake and sent the footage to the government, which has archived it.
- All characters from the future never appear because of time 'quarantaine'.
- Likewise, the time machine never appeared due to the Time Patrol guarding the network.
